Dental Care

Your pet’s oral health is essential to their overall wellness.

Dental disease is one of the most common and often overlooked health issues in dogs and cats—and it can lead to chronic pain, infection, and serious systemic illnesses affecting the heart, liver, and kidneys. Did you know that pets with healthy mouths can live up to 2 years longer than pets with diseased mouths?

At our hospital, a complete oral health assessment is performed under general anesthesia, allowing us to, take dental X-rays, and perform safe and thorough cleanings, extractions, or other treatments as needed. This approach ensures we’re addressing disease, infection and pain below the gumline—where most problems hide.

Every pet undergoes a thorough pre-anesthetic assessment to ensure they are healthy enough for anesthesia and to tailor an individual anesthetic plan for their safety.

While anesthetic-free cleanings may improve the appearance of teeth, they don't treat the root of the disease or allow for assessment under the gumline.

Investing in your pet’s dental care is one of the most effective ways to improve their quality of life and longevity
