Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Jocelyn Chan has had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats, who were a constant presence in her household. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, she embarked on an adventure to Australia to pursue her veterinary degree at the University of Melbourne. She embraced her time Down Under among the koalas, kangaroos and her personal favourite, the platypus.
In 2018, Dr. Chan was thrilled to join the Granville Island Veterinary team, where she enjoys caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, with a special affection for her feline patients. Outside of work, she loves to travel, attend the theatre, and host board game nights with friends. In her spare time, she dotes on her senior tortie cat, Kira, a queenly presence who claims half the bed and expects attention from everyone she meets.
