Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Granville Island Veterinary Hospital (VIGH).
Our dedicated volunteers support our staff with a wide range of duties. These include, but are not limited to, laundry, cleaning kennels and dishes, monitoring a patient’s well-being and cleanliness, dog walking, and assisting staff with various procedures.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and commit to a weekly 4 hour shift for a minimum of three months. Most of our volunteers stay longer, especially given that we have a strict policy of providing letters of reference after completing a full six months of volunteering.
